IP存储广域网的I/O响应时间分析

摘要 以往对网络存储系统的性能分析大都集中在定性研究,定量分析模型很少。在分析基于iSCSI协议的IP存储广域网(IP-SWAN)的数据传输流程的基础上,建立了该系统的Petri网模型。利用Petri网模型的特点,在理论上计算了IP-SWAN系统的I/O响应时间,并分析了各参数对系统性能的影响,提出了改进IP-SWAN系统性能的方法。 Prior works on performance analysis of networked storage systems were mostly qualitative.Quantitative analytical model is limited.The Petri net model of IP-SWAN(IP Storage Wide Area Network) is constructed at the basis of analyzing the data flow in iSCSI-based IP-SWAN system.Considering the Petri net theory,this paper proposes an analytical method of I/O response time in IP-SWAN system.Furthermore the effects of some factors on system performance are discussed and some improvements of IP-SWAN are put forward.
