摘要
西部大开发关系全国大局,东西部的发展差距实为人才差距。西南新建本科师院应把为区域经济快速发展培养高素质师资作为首要任务,用现代大学理念引导自身发展,积极创新教师教育体系;大力整合教育资源,努力培育院校“核心竞争力”;牢固树立自主办学意识,主动协调与政府、社会的关系,充分发挥高等教育的社会功能,努力成为地方“标志中心”,“立足西南,面向全国,放眼东南亚”。
“Go to the West” is important to the whole country and the main disparity is the disparity among talents.The new established colleges in Southwest should regard the developing of area economy and high- quality teachers as their principal asignment. They should guide their self - development by using the modem university ideology and transform to teacher education. They should integrate educational resources and cultivate their “core competitive force”. They should build up self- determination consciousness and harmonize the relationship with the government and the society actively. They should also bring into play sufficiently the social function of higher education to become the local “symbol center”.
