死亡情节在伍尔夫小说中是一个重要因素,根据伍尔夫的小说观和历史观,死亡的含义已不再是单纯的个人悲剧,而是拥有了更广泛的历史含义和人性含义。伍尔夫想表现的是人的心灵史,因此,死亡在她的笔下也就是一个历史场景。
Death is always an important plot in the novels by Virginia Woolf. But following her point of view on history and novel writing, we can see that it is no longer limited in the concept of a personal life tragedy hut contained in a much broader sense of history and humanity. Since what Woolf wants to show is the history of human mind, death is, in this way, a historical scene.
