A banded area starting from Sunwu and ending in Longzhen in HeilongJiang Province,China is so-called 'Sun-Wu Graben' which was deemed as controlled by deep fault.It is inferred that the Cenozoic deposition in the centre of basin can be more than 2000 m thick.The recent gravity exploration provided ample evidences for the exploration of tectonic property of the area.The gravity image SN striking scattered spots in the north part and NNE striking extension in the south part,which has reflected that the north part is fault block called Sunwu fault Block while the south part is fault depression and separated by a uplift.
