摘要
光子晶体光纤(PCF)有着许多奇异的特点和广泛的应用前景。目前,光子晶体光纤的技术发展很快,其潜在应用不断被发掘出来。文章简要分析了光子带隙(PBG)型PCF的导光机制,介绍了它的典型结构、制作工艺和PBG的形成机理,探讨了其在光通信中的应用。
The photonic crystal fiber (PCF) has a lot of peculiar features and broad prospects of application. At present, the PCF technology is developing quite rapidly, its potential applications are being unearthed continuously, this paper briefly analyzed the ligh-guiding mechanism of the photonic bandgap (PBG)-type PCF, described its typical structure, manufacturing processing and the formation mechanism of PBG, discussed its applications in optical communication.
