The material of folk felt is wool with poor quality and spinning property. It is environment friendly and crude. The paper introduced the history of making felt in Xinjiang. It also introduced the making method and specises of felt, detailedly introduced the characteristic, specisos and use of no-pattern felt and pattern felt.
