摘要
Sato曾报道在催化量的Cp_2TiCl_2存在下,具有β-H的格氏试剂能还原脂肪族醛酮或酯,而生成相应的醇。我们也曾报道了CP_2TiCl_2催化下格氏试剂与亚胺、亚砜及异氰酸酯的反应。然而,根据Sato的报道,芳基烷基酮或芳香族酯和α,β-不饱和酮或酯都不能用该法还原为相应的醇,为此。
Aliphatic, aromatic and a, β-unsaturated ketones were readily reduced to the cor- responding secondary alcohols by iso-propyl magnesium bromide in the presence of a cataly- tic amount of bis(neomenthyl cyclopentadienyl) titanium dichloride, while diaryl ketches afforded reduction coupling product-pinacols under the similar reaction condition. Aliphatic and aromatic esters were also reduced to the corresponding. primary alcohols by Grignard reagent in the presence of the same catalyst. A possible mechanism is suggested.
