摘要
重金属氧化物(HMO)玻璃具有优于其它任何氧化物玻璃的透红外特性和相当高的非线性光学极化率。本文从HMO玻璃的形成、结构模型及其性能等方面阐述了HMO玻璃的进展,并指出了应用前景。
Heavy─metal oxide (HMO)glasses are superior over all other oxide glasses in its infrared transmission andits high nonlineer optical polarizability.The paper describes the progress&development of HMO glasses withregard to its forming,structural model and properties and shows its prospect in application.
