The influences of rotor blade bowing on the flow in turbine stages are analyzed by solving the Euler Equations on an averaged S2 stream surface and in three dimensions respectively. It is confirmed that rotor blade bowing has the same effect as stator blade bowing in the aspect of generation of 'C' type pressure distribution in the passage, which favors reducing the secondary flow losses.The simulation also reveals that the optimal lean angles of rotor blades are less at hub and bigger at tip than those of stator blades when both the stator and rotor have the same blade profile. Besides, this paper suggests further research on employing bowed blades into rotors is needed as the flow in rotor is more complicated.
