The paper describes the components and the deformation style of the Shuangshi nappestructure in Longmen Mountains in detail and discusses the Shuangshi fault and Shuangshi nappeemphatically. According to their deformation style, it also discusses the mechanism of the formation of the Shuangshi nappe structure. This nappe structure consists of step nappe structures withdifferent scales and periods.
