作者选择了上海、江苏海门及东台三个地区,于1987年薄荷头、贰刀收割时间,赶赴产区,比较了“海选”与“73~8”薄荷的鲜草得油率,测定结果“73~8”要比“海选”薄荷高出0.2~0.4ml%。从GC/MS及GC技术,分析薄荷脑含量,“海选”比“73~8”要平均高出7%左右。原油中薄荷酮、异薄荷酮、柠檬烯、1,8-桉叶素、β-蒎烯等均低于“73~8”。二者均为薄荷优良品种,各有长短,值得进一步提高。
There were two chinese mints, Hai-Xuan and 73-8, nomenclatured as Mentha haplocalyx Briq. and cultivated under the same condition in Tong-tai, Hai-men and Shanghai. At the harvesting time of mint, in July and October, 1987, we investigated them in those three mint producing areas. The oils were freshly distilled from these two mints. The quantities of the oil of 73-8 mint are higher over 0.2-0.4ml% than that of Hai-Xuan mint. The main chemical constituents were comparatively determined between two mints by means of GC and GC-MS methods. The results showed that the menthol contents of Hai-Xuan mint are over 7% higher than that of 73-8 mint. Moreover, those impurities, as menthone, isomenthone, limonene, 1, 8-cineol and bata-pinene contents of Hai-Xuan mint are lower than that of 73-8mint. Therefore, both the Hai-Xuan and 73-8 mints are good but not excellent. We must carry on the work of mint breeding.
