The paper introduces the reasons of high C_4 content in the feedstock of C_2 hydrogenation system and its impact on the reactor, and proposes how to avoid temperature runaway of the reactor and alkyne leakage at the outlet, and how to reduce ethylene loss, improve economic efficiency and save energy.
