The rational determination of the construction cost is very important for realizing the expected economic benefit and social benefit of the construction project. This paper expounds the rational determination of the construction cost from the stages of the investment estimate, design estimate, working drawing estimate, engineering contract cost management, budget needed for the completion of the projects, etc.
