摘要
本文从文化学理论出发,借用安东尼·史密斯的“欧洲文化族”概念和米切尔·温特的“具象”研究方法,在例举分析了中世纪和近代早期“欧洲文化族”各因素及作为其证据的具象后,指出欧洲历史上的“分”与“合”、“断裂”与“延续”是互存而辩证的。其中“合”与“延续”是本质的、内在的主流,构成了欧洲一体化的底蕴和欧洲统一的内在链接。
This paper discusses the European integration from the viewpoint of culturology. Based on Anthony Smith's theory on the ' European family of cultures' and Michael Wintle's methodology on ' visual representation' , after providing examples of the elements and their representations of the 'European family of cultures' in medieval and early modern Europe, the authors conclude that in the European history ,'diversity', 'identity', 'rupture'and 'continuity' are always co-existent and dialectical. However, 'identity' and 'continuity' are the essential and inherent mainstream, which lays down the foundation of European integration and the inner linkage of European unity.
