美国在原海军全战区防御系统的基础上,积极推进海基中段防御系统的发展。系统论述了美国海基中段防御系统的发展过程、作战任务与作战过程,重点介绍各个系统组成部分以及飞行试验情况,最后介绍了未来海基中段防御系统的研制部署计划。
The U.S. government has made great adjustment to the missile defense system. The Sea-based Midcourse Defense (SMD) is developed on the basis of the former Navy Theater Wide (NTW) system. The paper begins with the development history of SMD, and the system structure and flight tests are introduced in detail. Finally future development and deployment plans of SMD are described.
