摘要
采用耦合模理论建立了长周期光纤光栅薄膜传感器的理论模型,分析了其传感机理,并进行了实验研究,给出了初步的气敏实验结果.研究结果表明,光纤光栅包层外所镀敏感薄膜的光学参数(厚度和折射率)与传感器的灵敏度高低有直接关系,传感器的结构优化非常必要.长周期光纤光栅薄膜传感器具有薄膜传感器和光纤传感器的优点,具有广阔的应用前景.
Based on coupled mode theory, a theoretical model is established for long period fiber thin film sensors. The sensing characteristic is analyzed and gas-sensing experiment with preliminary experiment results is presented. The results are demonstrated to show that the thin film parameters (thickness and refractive index) have direct relation to the sensitivity of sensors and the structure optimization is very important. With the advantages of both film sensors and fiber optical sensors, the long-period fiber thin film sensors will have a wide application prospect in industrial area.
