摘要
综述了国内外棉花耐盐性遗传与育种研究进展,指出耐盐性状由于受主基因控制,通过遗传改良在实践上是完全可行的,并分析了转基因技术在棉花耐盐性改良方面的潜力,列举了目前耐盐性的多种鉴定方法,并提出了选育耐盐棉花新品种的若干途径。
Advances in genetics and breeding of salt- tolerant cotton are summarized, which show that the character of salt tolerance is controlled by major genes, so it is practical to improve salt tolerance of cotton by genetic method. Many methods of testing the salt tolerance of cotton varieties are listed, and several pathways to breeding salt-tolerant cotton varieties are proposed, especially, to improve salt tolerance of cotton varieties by transgenic technology is put forward.
