摘要
翻译的等值概念一直是西方现代翻译理论中的一个核心问题。有关翻译等值理论与实践的探讨层出不穷,然而医学翻译中的等值问题却极少被涉及。本文以翻译等值相关理论为基础,从词汇,句子和篇章等值方面讨论医学翻译的等值问题,揭示医学翻译中源语与译语的文化差异,语言习惯和语篇交际情景是影响医学翻译原文与译文等值的重要因素。
Equivalence' has long been a key concept in western translation theory. However the issue of equivalence in medical translation has yet to be studied. This paper analyzes the concept of equivalence at the lexical, syntactical and discoursal level in attempt to identify factors affecting equivalence in medical translation, including cultural difference, language features and genre features.
