环境音乐是一种功用性音乐。中国环境音乐的发展．应植根于本民族的审美特征，通过融入中国民族音乐元素．在音乐理念、音乐气质、音乐创作等方面呈现出自己鲜明的特色．形成自己独特的发展形态。
Enviornment music is a kind of functional music.The development of Chinese environment music should be based on the national aesthetic features. combined with some elements of national music, environment music is of its own distinguishing features in theory, style and creation, and forms its own special way of development.
