摘要  介绍了光纤拉曼放大器(FRA)的原理、特点,阐述了分布式光纤拉曼放大器(DFRA)在延长传输距离,提高增益方面的作用,对DFRA在无中继海底光缆通信中的应用作了论述。 The principles, characteristics of fiber Raman amplifier(FRA) are introduced. And the functions of distributed fiber Raman amplifier(DFRA)in extending transmission distance and increasing gain are described. The application of DFRA in repeaterless submarine fiber optic cable communications is also described.
