摘要
电视英语新闻的瞬时性决定了掌握英语新闻词汇特点的重要性。本文从英语新闻报道中大量使用缩略词、新造词、复合词、借用、转化词、小词等方面分析了电视英语新闻的用词特点,有助于电视观众更好的理解英语新闻。
The instantaneity of TV English news makes it important to grasp the features of English news vocabularies, which are analyzed in the paper by providing large sum of examples used in English news as initial words, newly made words, compound words. Functional shifted words, short words and so on.
