摘要
索绪尔试图解决人文现象研究中的科学理性问题,他为人文现象建立起具有分析理性的模型——符号系统。而索绪尔的局限——他没有意识到人文现象的符号化、格式化暗藏着僭越事象本真的危险,没有意识到解决方法和现象的矛盾更为妥当的途径是逐步在科学的探索中发展出软化的研究方法,使之适应事象的丰富性,决不以舍弃对于事象具有本质意义的社会文化因素为代价去求得科学虚妄的形式美感——是求索中的历史的局限。
Saussure tried to solve the problem of scientific reason in the studies of humanistic phenomena. He established a sign system, i.e., a model of analytical reason for humanistic phenomenon studies. But he was not aware enough of the danger that the signalization of and formalism humanistic phenomenon would go beyond the proper bounds of truth. The more appropriate way to solve the contradiction between methodology and phenomenon is to develop softened methods gradually in scientific exploration. We should not seek the formal aesthetic feeling of scientific fabrication at the price of abandonment of the essential social culture factors. Saussure’s limitation is a historic one.
