A measurement of satisfaction with military service was developed on the basis of Hoppock Job Satis-faction Blank.The questionnaire includes 4 items,such as general rating of military service,tendency to tetire, etc.Administered in 1934 soldiers , the measurement presented good internal consistency ,Cronbach αand split half correla- tion coefficient being 0.76 and 0.83, respectively.The results showed that more than 80% of soldiers satisfied withtheir military service though 4.0% of soldiers did not adapt military life very well.
