摘要
"五四"时期女作家石评梅的思想和创作受基督教文化影响颇深,这种影响是在近代社会、白话译经和西方文学等多重背景下发生的。石评梅不是从内心深处虔诚皈依基督的教徒,而是对基督教文化充满礼赞,折服于基督教文化的忏悔意识、超越追求和拯救精神,将之视为拯救社会和个人精神寄托的根本途径。
Shi Pingmei, a woman writer during the May Fourth Movement, was influenced by Christian culture both in her outlook and literary creation. This influence took place in the context of modern society, the vernacular Bible and Western literature etc. However, Shi Pingmei is not a reverentially converted Christian in her mind, but only feels awe and respect to Christian culture, admiring its sense of confession, transcendence and redemption, and taking it as a fundamental way for the salvation of society and for man's spiritual stay.
