摘要
中国和西方对民主的思想、制度等问题的理解和实践更多的是基于以中国为代表的东方文明和以希腊、罗马为代表的西方文明之间的分歧。近代以来在中国走向现代化的过程中, 在西方发达的物质文明和坚船利炮与发展中国家形成明显的强弱对比之下, 以民主、自由为依托的政治制度、法律制度也成为发展中国家几乎是无法选择的选择。透视我国的民主发展历程, 其始终没有摆脱传统文化的影响, 以及阶级斗争、以经济建设为中心的国家独立富强的目标等因素的作用。因此, 中国民主发展的道路必然要以传统文化为根基, 以中国的现实为基础, 同时借鉴西方文明有益的东西。
Since the modern times China has moved towards the process of modernization under the obviously strong contrast in the west developed material civilization and the firm ship advantage artillery. It is absolutely necessary choice for the developing nation to take the political and legal systems in the developed countries which base on democracy and freedom. The developing course of democracy in our country has not gotten rid of throughout the influence of traditional culture,in addition class struggle,taking economic development as central factor and so on national independence prosperous and powerful goal function. Therefore,the development path of Chinese democracy must take the traditional culture as a base, and take Chinas reality as the foundation. At the same time we should use the beneficial western civilization for reference.
