义宁话属桂北平话,通行于旧义宁县范围的五通、保宁、中庸、宛田、黄沙五个乡镇。常用而较有特色的后缀有“子、儿、佬、婆、奶、公、肚、法、法子、头”,前缀有“老”,中缀有“哩”。义宁话的语缀远没有普通话丰富,但都有自己的特点。
