初识唐经世教授,是在2003年秋第七北京国际工程机械展览暨技术交流会上。在观者如云的展会上,年逾古稀的唐教授背符一个大书包,里面装满了收集来的各种资料,红光满面。
Being a famous expert in our country in railway construction machinery and construction mechanization and a senior professor with the Southwest Communication University,Mr.Tang Jingshi co-set up the first speciatity of construction(paving) machinery in China.In teaching over 50 years,he has been noted for his meticulous scholarship and compiled and published ten textbooks and monographs on construction machinery for higher education.The scientific research project of new-type bridging machines he participated in won the prize of national science meeting. Besides teaching and scientific research,professor Tang also loves the railway project construction with his footmarks left in many projects such as the tunnels of Taohuapu,Mogou Mountains,Zhongnan Mountains,Wuqiao Mountains and Kunlun Mountains,as well as Qingzang railway and Taiwan high-spend railway.
