On 28th July, 2000, the Commission for the Discussion and Decision of the Xia Nai Awards decided that the 2000's Xia Nai Awards of CASS IA for Excellent Archaeological Research Achievements would be granted as follows: second-grade awards to four works, third-grade to three, and encouragement ones to eight.
