摘要
通感既是一种生理现象，又是一种心理现象，也是一种特殊的修辞手段和艺术技巧。美的通感在诗歌语言中往往产生强烈的艺术效果。本文采用平行研究方法，阐述通感在中英诗歌中的作用。
Synaesthesia is not only a physiological phenomenon, but a psychological one. It is also a special kind of figures of speech, and an artistic style. Good synaesthesia in poetry tends to give rise to a strong artistic effect on the readers. The functions of synaesthesia in Chinese and English poetry are expounded by means of the approach of parallel study.
