The paper discusses the reasons and influenses of building the Huhehaote-Baotou-Yinchuan economical zone as one of first-grade key-developing district in west China; explores the big opportunities and challenges facing the development of the economical zone; analyzes the strategy position of the economical zone in west China; puts out some key-pointes and some measures for developing the economical zone in the future.
