Introduction is given to the development of high-power diesel engines, as well as the increasing trend of engine power, pme,pmax and injection pressure. Analysis and comparison are presented to several kinds of technologies for reduc- ing emissions, as well as the developing tendency on fuel system,turbocharging system and electrically control system.
