摘要
本文采用语音学和音系学相结合的方法,从语音格局的角度对广州话的主要元音再行分析。依据 元音层级的观念,广州话的一级元音和二级元音都是七个:i u y ε a,三级元音和四级元音都是十 一个:i u y ε o a 。广州话以及香港粤语的元音时长统计结果表明,全部元音时长都有规律 性的差异表现。
A sound pattern combining the methods of phonetics and phonology can show the sound system of a language or a dialect. The vowel pattern is an important part of sound pattern. Present paper is re-analysis of Cantonese vowels by acoustic vowel chart. According to the conception of vowel level, there are seven vowels of the first and second level. And there are eleven vowels of the third and fourth level in Cantonese. The vowel system in Hong Kong is consistent with that in Guangzhou. The data of vowel duration shows a regular variation.
