摘要
现行大学英语四、六级考试制度 ,对大学英语教学产生了一些负面影响 ,突出表现为学生的“高分低能”现象。若不及时改革应试制度 ,将会影响大学英语教学质量的提高。因此 ,必须对现行的大学英语过级考试制度进行改革 。
The system of GET4/6 in operation has negative effect on the teaching of college English, which especially results in students' high score but low ability of using the language. If we do not take measures to improve this system, it will affect the improvement of English teaching quality. Therefore, the system of GET4/6 in operation should be reformed to meet with the demands of contemporary English teaching.
