摘要
内毒素休克是一个系统性炎症反应,主要由内毒素诱导的炎症因子所引发,活性氧和一氧化氮是内毒素血症发生过程中重要的调节因素。阐述了活性氧和活性氮在内毒素毒性机制中的地位和作用,并讨论了抗氧化剂对内毒素损伤的保护作用及其临床应用前景。
Septic shock was defined as a systemic inflammatory response stimulated by excessive secretion of proinflammatory mediators, i. e., tumor necrosis factor, which were released by endotoxin, a part of the out membrane of the cell wall of the Gram-negative bacteria. Moreover, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitric oxide might be associated with overwhelming infection resulting in vascular system failure with sequestration of large volume of blood in capillaries and veins. This review focuses on the toxicity and pathogenic mechanism of the reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. The clinical use of antioxidants in the protection of the endotoxin injury is also discussed.
