梁实秋散文大致可分为:“雅舍”精神内核自述,世相人情、社会风尚的描摹,对旧情往事及昔人的追述,托物言志、感物抒怀之作,对故土风物的追述和反刍等五种类型,这些散文集中反映了梁实秋散文“闲适雅淡”、“幽默风趣,寓庄于谐;言简意深,雅致醇厚,讲究文调;引经据典,广征博引”的散文创作风格和艺术特色,由此铸就了梁实秋饮誉文坛的散文大家的地位。
Liang Shiqiu's prose falls roughly into following five categories: the statement of the spiritual core of “Ya She”, the portrayal of the ways of the world and the manners of society, the recounting of the past things and old friends, the works stating ideals through things and expressing feelings with recalling, the relating of native land and its customs. The prose reflects Liang Shiqiu's leisure, comfortable and refined writing style. Having a sense of humor, writing down solemn things in light words, using concise words with deep meanings, being refined and mellow, stressing the tone of works, quoting the classics as proof and evidence are all Liang Shiqiu's prose writing styles and artistic features. Accordingly, Liang Shiqiu is considered to be a noted prose writer enjoying great reputation in literary world.
