摘要
研究碳添加量对富硼B_4C粉末常压烧结性能的影响,本文利用X射线衍射仪、光学、扫描电镜对烧结体的成分、显微结构进行分析,实验结果表明,添加碳不仅可提高烧结体的致密度,而且可细化晶粒,改善气孔的数量、形态和分布,当添加11%碳的粉末在2150℃烧结时,得到密度≥95%的理论密度(TD)的致密体。通过对烧结体的化学成分及显微结构分析表明,碳与富硼B_4C粉末之间的固溶反应,引起B_4C粉末颗粒重排、活度提高、物质迁移激活能降低等是改善粉末烧结性能的主要机制。
The effects of carbon on sintering behavior of boron-rich carbide powders were studied.Free-Ccontent and microstructure of sintered compacts were determined by X-ray diffractometer.optical mi-cro scope and SEM. The results show that carbon not only improves densification of sintered com- pacts,but also refines grain and affects the pore's shape and distribution.The density of compactsadded 11%carbon sintered at 21 50℃ is up to 95%TD. The results show that main mechanism improving sintering behavior is controlled by the particlerearrange a rise in powder activity and a decrease in mass transfer active energy resulted from solid so- lution reaction between carbon and boron-rich carbide.
