Cencen was a great poet of frontier poems in prosperous period of Tang Dynasty. According to his own particular observation and feelings about the frontier life,he mainly described marvellous scenes in north-west frontier with great enthusiasm. And he also praised the brave frontier soldiers' spirit of fighting for their motherland. His poems are wonderful and magnificent. They are of unique aesthetic value.
