摘要
党的领袖接班人问题是毛泽东晚年一直未能解决好的问题。受各种因素影响,毛泽东在选择接班人问题上出现失误,表明党在制度建设、特别是民主制度建设上存在缺陷。党的第二、第三代领导集体汲取前人教训,充分认识到制度建设的重要性,并针对接班人问题进行了有效的制度建设,保证了党的领袖交接班由个人转向集体并能够顺利进行。在新的历史时期,党的制度建设理应成为贯穿党的建设的主线。
Training and selecting successors of the Party leadership was a problem Mao Zedong did not solve well in his late years. The mistakes made by Mao Zedong, due to various factors, in choosing his successors brought to light the drawbacks of the Party in its institutional building, especially the democratic institutional building. The second and third generations of collective leadership of the Party drew a lesson from the past, fully realized the importance of institutional building and effectively improved the institution with regard to the issue of successors, thus bringing about a change from individual to collective hand-over of leadership and ensuring a smooth transfer. In the new historical era the institutional improvement should be a thread running through the whole process of the Party building.
