摘要
本文以认知原型范畴理论为指导 ,探讨了英语词汇教学的新理念 ,提出在词汇教学中 ,要重视基本范畴词的学习 ,重视多义词的讲解 ,重视转喻和隐喻的认识 ,从而提高学生的学习兴趣 ,改善课堂气氛 ,提高教学质量。
With the cognitive prototype category theory as guiding principle, the paper inquires into the new concept of the teaching of the English vocabulary, putting forward that in teaching the English vocabulary, it is imperative to emphasize the basic category of words, the explanation of polysemous words, the recognition of metonymies and metaphors so as to enhance students’ interest in learning, ameliorate the classroom atmosphere and improve the quality of education.
