摘要
对《呼啸山庄》的评析 ,历来就有各种各样的观点。本文从小说人物形象的隐含意味入手 ,提出艾米莉·勃朗特所塑造的人物是依据精神生活为脚本的 ,而非伦理道德观念。希思克厉夫和凯瑟琳的语言、行为、动作都暗示着人类的非人性素质 ,而洛克乌德和耐莉·丁对故事情节的叙述 ,则显示出现实世界的人性素质。这种人性素质和非人性素质的对立统一 ,其实就是文明社会中成年人身上所共同具有的意识和潜意识的双重状态。
There were different kinds of viewpoints on Wuthering Heights. Through the analysis of the obscure meaning of the figures, it is pointed out that Emily Bronte created in line with the cultural life and not the concept of moral principles. The speech, actions and movements of Heathcliff and Catherine indicate the inhumanity of mankind, while the narration of Lockwood and Nelly Dean shows the humanity of real life. Actually, the contradictory unity of humanity and inhumanity is the consciousness and subconsciousness of human beings in the civilized world.
