摘要
珠海市地图是应珠海市人民政府的要求而编制的，反映珠海市全新面貌的普遍地图．该地图的编制充分考虑了地图在国家改革开放形势中应发挥的作用，珠海市在经济及地理位置上的特殊性及地理挂图的特点等．本文从地图的图面设计与数学基础建立；地图内容的选择与表示，色彩的使用与图面整饰；编制过程及印刷等四个方面，论述了珠海市地图的编制设计特色．
The map of Zhuhai Municipality which was required by the people's government of Zhuhai is a ordinary map whicb repreents the new apperance of Zbuhai.Three points were considered in the map compilation of Zhuhai; 1、 the function of map in the situation of our national reforms and opning policy. 2、 the particularity of Zhuhai in the respets of arenomy and geographical position. 3、 The features of geographical wall map. This peper dicusses the compilation and the design characteristics of Zhuhai map from four respets: the design oft the map and the estabdshment of mathematical base;the selection and the representation of the map contents; the design of courlors and the map arrangement and decoration; the map compilation process and printing.
