讨论了用户交换机在市话网中的地位、作用及其合理配置，从而为研究市话网中用户交换机的良性发展打下了基础。
The position, functions and appropriate installation of PBX in urban telephone network are discussed. Thereby, the foundation is laid for researches on the coordinative development of PBX in urban telephone network.
