摘要
过氧化氢酶能催化过氧化氢分解,产生水和氧。著者设计用极谱氧电极法检测该酶的活性。其原理是在过氧化氢酶分解反应体系中的过氧化氢放出氧气时,用氧电极检测氧张力的变化量。据此可算出酶的活力单位。
It is well-known that hydrogen peroxide can be decomposed into water and oxygen by catalase.This paper reports a simple, convenient and fast method for measuring the activity of catalase with the polarographic oxygen electrode method. The principle of this method is as follows:after a definite quantity of catalase is added to the above mentioned reaction system,in which oxygen will be released. Any changes in oxygen tension mean the relative activity of catalase. The amount of these changes detected by the oxygen electrode may be calculated into units of the activity of catalase.
