Abstract The transverse OM L 0°)images of the brain SPECT were observed in contract with the corresponding sectional specimens of cranium and brain of which sray matter had been stained on blue colour.The high.middle and low density areas of each SPECT image were analysed o Following,the layers of images were settled in accordance with some special landmarks,then more structures would be recognized.According to these structures,the sketches of brain SPECT images were drawn.Appling anatomic Knowledge,cortical functional areas and arterial territories were also drawn on the sketches a Twelve transverse images of brain SPECT were employed to show the result of the study.From the roof to the bottom of the ctanium,the names of these layers were arranged successively as follows:1.cortex of frontal and parietal lobes.2.the layer in which white matter appears.3.the layer in which parielo-occipital sulcus appears.4.cingulate gyms.5.roof of lateral ventricles.6.boby of lateral ventricles and stem of corpus callosum.7.cisterna velum interpositum and splemium of corpus callosum.8.sphenoid crest,mass intermedia and superior quadrigeminal cistern.9.sphenoidcrest, midbrain and hypothalamus.10.cistern of supra-sella.11.sphenoid sella,petrolal protion of temporal bone and pens.12.external acustic meatus.
