摘要
本文给出用迭代矩量法计算各向异性矩形波导双折射特性的方法，并以之为基础给出计算熊猫型（ＰＡＮＤＡ）光纤双折射的等效矩形介质波导法．本法简便易行，实例计算表明能给出与较繁复的精确数值方法及实测值计算相吻合的结果．
In this paper,the Iterated Moment Methed is used to calculate birefrigence characteristics ofanisotropic rectangular dielectric waveguides and to calculate birefrigence of PANDA fibers in equivalent rectangular waveguide approximation. The present method is simple and time-saving, and the numerical results agree with those by cumbersome methods of numerical analysis.
