Abstract This Paper is part Ⅱ of the Polychaetu of the Hainan Island waters, recording ten families such as Nereidae, Amphinomidae, Nephthyidae, Eunicidae as well as Orbinidae of Sedentaric tataling 90 species. In the list of species in studies on Polychaete of the Hainan Island Waters I,Amphinomidae and Nephthyidae were left out. The spotes included in Serpulidae were also amended and altogether 157 species were described in this poper.The species of Polychaeta are rich in the Hainan Island Waters. This Paper is only a preliminary report and supplements to aseenturia will be written and the research work is now being conducted under the directions of Dr. E. N. Buzhinskaya of the Zoological institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Prof. Baoling Wu of our institute. The meiopolychaetes are being studied by the expedition led by Prof. W. Westheide of the Department of Biology of the University of Osnabruck. Germany and Prof. Baoling, Wu of the First institute of Oceanography. SOA and the paper will be published in succession in Germany and China.This paper has made a rather deep study of the Serpulidae. Thanks areextended to Prof.Chen Mu for his guidance and help.
