摘要
本文应用小鼠精子畸形试验方法,研究了呋喃妥因对雄性生殖细胞的损伤作用。结果表明该药对小鼠精子有明显的致畸作用,以精母细胞期对药物的作用最敏感。文中对精子畸形与雄性生殖细胞发育阶段的关系进行了简要阐述。
Nitrofurantoin was injected intraperitoneally into mice on five consecutive days. Five weeks afterwards from the first injection, sperms from the caudal epididymides were examined. The percentages of abnormal sperms in the 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg and 20 mg/kg groups were 1.48±0.12, 1.60±0.27 and 3.22±0.31 respectively, and that of the control group was 1.02±0.13,with a statistically significant difference. Sperm abnormalities were also investigated separately by the end of 1 , 3, 5 and 8 weeks following the exposures.The percentages of abnormal sperms were 1.32±0.16, 1.66±0.12, 3.22±0.31 and 1.82±0.23 respectively. The results showed that nitrofurantoin may induce an increase in abnormal sperms, and the early spermatocytes are the cell stages most sensitive to the production of sperm abnormalities by nitrofurantoin. The mechanism of induction may be a direct damage to DNA or an interference with the expression of this genetic material.
