摘要
通过在SEM下的Al/SiCp复合材料的单面缺口拉伸试验,研究了该材料在断裂过程中的基本性能。用一次空穴和二次空穴的概念,解释了该材料表现的宏观上变脆和微观上一定程度的韧性。
The microfracture toughness of Al/SiCp composites is studied under the SEM inthe tensile tests of Single Edge Notched Sheet(SENS)specimens. The results are discussedwith the primary and secindary voids to explain the special failure characteristics of Al/SiCpcomposites,which behave macroscopically brittle,but microscopically ductile.
