摘要
本文报道１９８９年８月从滇西边睡盈江县那邦河谷地带的野生芭蕉叶腋采获的－新种局限蚊──长鬃局限蚊Ｔｏｐｏｎｙｉａ（Ｔ．）ｌｏｎｇｉｓｅｔｏｓａｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．标本保存于云南省流行病研究所．
The male of this new species is similar to T.. Iviclinata Thurman, 1959, T.svastii Thurman, 1959, T. unispinosa Thurman, 1959, T. hirtusa Gong, 1989and T. zhangi Gong, 1991 complexes by the presence of white line in ventral of proboscis, midleg and hind leg with white line and dark palpus. It is more simi-lar to unispinosa than other species by the ventral pale line of midtarsus and hindtarsus interrupted on t3 --is. It differs from the latter in the following aspects f I )small, wing length 2. 5 mm 2 ) basimere broad, 2.2f l, 3 ) ventro -- medial lobe of basimere band--like and with two rows (about 25 ) of very long flat setae (hence the new mosquito is named), 4 ) distimere broadest at base and its apex hooklike.The larvae differs from ljnclinate, I. hirtusa, I. lindsayi, and i. zhangi (I have not seen specimens of svastii and unispinosa ) by having numerous pecten teeth and thelast tooth reaching the subapex of siphon.Holotype F, allotype -R, and paratypes 5 if, 3 larvae and 3 larvaeskins, all collected from Yingiiang County (25. I o N, 97. 8 o E ), Yunnan Prov-ince (August 1988, Gong ). All types are deposited in the Research institute of Epi-demic Diseases of Yunnan Province, China.
