摘要
软硬件均能实现信源编码。一种简单实用的软件编码方法──查表编码法能够实现各种不同的信源编码；给出了信源的熵、编码效率和压缩比的计算以及实验结果。
ABSTRACT A new method of software look-table-up coding is introduced in this paper. The data encoding and decoding，calculating entropy, encoding efficiendy, compression ratio and experiment results are presented. The results of its practieal use show that the design procedure is simplified and can be popularized.
